PE On Cycle Recruiting for 2026

Current senior right now with a full time IB offer. Have been receiving emails from headhunters and have been seeing headhunters hold info sessions on campus over the past month so I'm starting to think about on cycle recruiting. Can anyone give any insight on what the recruiting timeline will look like from now until on-cycle kicks off and what they did to prep? When do people typically recommend starting to network and study for interviews? Was planning on starting some time next semester but wanted to get an idea of what timeline other people have gone off of in the past few years.

What HHs have reached out so far? Incoming at MM with non-target background and have only received a ratio advisors email

Bruh it’s still early. Enjoy senior year. The HH emails will come as you get closer to getting on the desk.
