Private Equity consulting exit opportunities?

I have been interviewing for a role at a PE consultancy.  It would involve analysing businesses and helping them with their leadership issues.  For example, a PE firm may buy a fast growth startup and need to hire a CEO, VP of sales and a COO, we would help analyse their business and advise them on business structure, leadership style and what leaders they may need.

I'm curious as to what exit opportunities this job may offer.  If I have missed any info out, let me know and I will update!
