Private Equity Recruiting

I am currently a manager in Corp Dev at a big tech firm. Prior I did 2.5 years in Buyout Private Equity (promoted to Senior Associate) and 3 years in banking. I am struggling to recruit to get back into PE as I've realized I like PE more.  If I get my MBA at an M7 school (thinking Wharton/Columbia), would that increase my chances or would this still make it difficult?
