Private investments in LNG space

Hello,

I cannot see a lot of threads on LNG space, especially from private investments perspective so creating a new one.

I have a potential job opportunity to join a government-backed LNG terminal operator/developer/investor. The company has projects across EU/LatAm/Brazil.

The potential job would entail screening markets for potential investment opps; building project-level investment models; BizDev (reaching out to potential partners to explore opportunities and etc) and all admin stuff such as building investment memos/negotiating O&M contracts and etc.

Seems like an interesting opportunity - however, for those who are playing around in this sector, how does the career trajectory look for ppl in such places? How viable it would be to pivot to energy PE (maybe even infra-PE) if I dont like this job? What are the main concern points I should be looking for prior to joining this role?

Many thanks in advance.

Note: I am based in a smaller EU country if that matters.
