Question for the Pre-MBA Associates

Hey WSO,

For the Pre-MBA Associates at MFs and reputable MM shops (or anyone for that matter), how influential can you guys be in regards to junior recruiting for internships? Over the weekend, I met with a pre-MBA Associate and we hit it off pretty good; he was surprised about how much I knew about the industry, the deals they did, the value PE adds, etc.

However, I remained tactful and did not suggest that I was interested in a potential summer employment opportunity. Considering I met him once, would it be prudent/tactful to ask him about the structure of the recruitment?

Also, if one of you guys really liked someone, is there a way you can admit that person into some type of expedited interview process?

Many thanks,

Me
