Career Resources
I would take the time and regroup. Your health is paramount. You have a stellar background and will be able to find many $200k+ jobs once you figure out what you want to do. I took 2 years off at about the same stage.
interested in this. how did you manage to get back into the market? did you face any hurdles and scrutiny given your 2 yrs off? how did you overcome as you were going through the process? in this industry, i feel like if you're upfront about health issues, they view it negatively and generally frowned upon.
also curious as to what you're doing now, whether it's the same industry pe investing or something else entirely different
What did you do for two years with no work?
Also curious here. Did you hop directly back in, or do something else in the interim (e.g. how to corporate and then re-enter)? OP thread was deleted - but curious how to position yourself to re-enter the industry and explain a lengthy career break.
Took 6 month career break before going into next role. Best decision ever - you have whole life ahead of you to work , why not take some time to actually enjoy life whilst still young? That 6 months felt like years of living
