Recruiting advice for T2 Consulting to PE in London
Hello WSO monkeys,
I have ~4YOE at a T2 strat consulting firm (S&, EY-P, LEK) in London, and my ultimate goal is to recruit for a MM/UMM PE deals team.
Have I 'missed the boat' to recruit for Associate positions here in London given my YOE? If so, will joining MBB boost my chances massively or at all (taking into consideration of the current UK PE hiring market)?
Any advice to proceed/navigate the ongoing 2024 recruitment cycle considering the current job market and deals market outlook would be greatly appreciated! Please note: a UK perspective is what i'm hoping to get!
