Recruiting for on-cycle as an international student
Hey everyone,
So I'm an international student who just started at a MBB. I am currently on OPT with 2 years of STEM extension (so 3 more tries of the H1B Lottery; didn't get H1B back in April this year).
I'm on the fence regarding participating in on-cycle now or fostering informal relationships now with PE firms and recruiting when (hopefully) I actually get my H1B.
Would it be better to skip on-cycle now and do it once I get my H1B, or to get a PE offer now and renege if my visa situation doesn't work out?
