Resources to read everyday for PE?

Hey guys,

I just wanted to see what resources you consult everyday to keep updated on current events regarding PE/growth equity, specifically tech/software companies. I read the NY Times and TechCrunch but have not really ventured outside of those 2 resources. Is there any websites that you recommend?

The standard news sources are WSJ for Business & Markets - everything else is trash, FT for global news and the Economist. Nearly everyone in PE or any sort of FO finance role will read some combination of these.

Now if you are looking for a specific source targeted only at PE, things get tricky. There are tons of places but the good ones all cost serious coin, to the extent that if your firm does not have a subscription, it may not make sense to get one. I am thinking of Private Equity International and it's sister brands - real estate international, private debt investor, secondaries investor and infrastructure investor. PEHub is a good one. Unquote is good although exclusievely focused on Eruope. IPE, Private equity wire, Altassets, Top 1000 funds, Ted Seides podcast, Privcap's videos - there are tons of sources if you dig around but quality tends to be mixed. Institutional Investor will have PE specific news every now and then - this one's a free source.
