Hi folks - I have been offered a Sr Asso role in the Middle East with a medium sized fund, fairly new shop so nothing is too defined. The base comp offered is $10k below what I was expecting. Should I try to negotiate or just move on and accept it?

I generally think if you want the job then ask for what you want and if they say no then just take it. It’s really not that much money in the scheme of things.
