Who are the best headhunters for secondaries roles? Most interested in VP and above. Is it the usual suspects or are there specialists?

Second this question. All my secondaries/non-buyout processes have been from LinkedIn / other job postings, not HHs. Can't tell if the usual suspects are boxing me for buyout-only or if they just don't cover a ton of these guys.
even LinkedIn roles are sparse / who knows if they are even real when its no name recruiting firm

Do you recommend someone at Korn Ferry. They been somewhat useless. Same with Norgay.
Henkel does AlpInvest (Carlyle) and Opus does Harbourvest
Alpinvest has been struggling to get mid levels. I interviewed with them for the NAV Lending VP, came from Whitney Partners.
