Does anyone know anything about secondary directs? from what i gathered from my first round, they buy companies direct from other PE firms and it was very modeling/company specific questions in the first round. Just wondering what comp/lifestyle/hours/exit ops are for secondary directs, firms like w capital, verdane, richmond park partners, etc.

Regular buyout shops buy companies from other PE firms all the time. The distinction with direct secondary firms like W Capital is they're probably buying minority stakes. No structuring, no management changes, no strategic changes, probably not on the board of directors of the company post closing.
