Senior Associate Lateral Interview

Currently a 1st year associate at lower middle market firm (think $200-400M fund size). Typical 2 years and out, with special circumstances for promotion. Keep receiving recruiter emails for Associate and Senior Associate roles, so am wondering what the interview process would look like to lateral in as a Senior Associate somewhere after 2 years. Or at minimum do a 3rd year Associate transition year with the expectation to get promoted to Senior Associate. Can anyone provide details on interview topics, case studies, etc.? Assuming you get grilled on your portfolio companies and any live deal experience, but it would be helpful to know what areas to prep for.
