Spectrum Equity Interview - First Round
I have a first round for a full-time analyst role coming up -- any idea what to expect?

Career Resources
Pay is super low, they lose people because they underpay. Process is also a bit funky, they ran it for a long time and weren’t handling it properly. Otherwise fund seems to have solid returns but underpaying junior employees is just cheap.
To add to the poster above, I heard they pay $90k all in as a first year analyst (which is way below market for similar firms, think $50k). With that being said, those analysts get great positions after the two year program.
with 90k all in, I'm curious what base/bonus is. Seems like either virtually no bonus or non-livable base.
Have you heard back since the first round? How many interviews are there?
I have my 2nd round coming up soon. I'm not sure how many rounds there are.
Is the process already done? Handshake app is still live (and they just changed the deadline from Sept 4 to Oct 1)

Just a heads up in case anyone finds this info useful. I had a first round this Tuesday (applied beginning of Sept), so I guess they're inviting folks to interview in waves.
They got back today - rejected lol. Good luck to anyone still in the process
