seem from reading that culture is bad but see people join from permira, king street etc so wondering if things have improved or if pay is super good or what else?

At bit like my firm.
We go to IC - they sign off on it conceptually + our term sheet.
We then do the deal fund
Then we finish memo.
I mean if finishing up the memo to summarize/present stuff that was core to the deal seems fine but its actually doing the diligence then its weird I guess…
I think their MDs have the ability to do info / starter positions up to 25m or so. Given they are more loan to own it’s more efficient that way since they need to get into process flow. I interviewed in their US offices a few years ago.
Can you share your view on them? How they compare to King Street / DK / centerbridge / other credit funds and distressed PE
