  • Good fund - solid returns - partly because they invested more heavily into tech / biz services over last decade
  • Comp - seems in line with UK MM... 
  • Progression - actually seems reasonable from what I hear - enough space / lean enough to move up the ranks
  • Risk - heard one / two of the Partners leaving to setup own fund - but that's because they did well (or so I understand rather than related to Synova itself...)
 

Culture - not sure, worked a few years ago with one of the Partners there when I was sell-side - he was not easy to deal with. Curious to hear more of what you heard? 

I do think they have been fortunate with growth being aligned to what did well in the last decade. Although, frankly, I don't think its much different to an Inflexion or Livingbridge in terms of strategy.
