I think this is too broad a question. What is relevant to each subsection of the tech market may vary widely.
A good place to start may be to look at the holdings of specific funds you’re interested in. Dig into those and build from there. You’ll also sound smarter when networking with ppl from those firms.

Pick up the book "Venture Deals" and the book Tech in the City; understand product lifecycle, SaaS, ARR, MRR.
Think about the sub-sector(s) & investment scale that would be most relevant to what you're trying to learn. Below are some resources such as Vista insights, Bain PE report on tech investing, and TMT quarterly industry reports with info on comps / deals / themes etc. Lots of the content may skew toward Software, but should give you an idea of multiples and of what types of themes drive TMT-oriented investments across different scales / stages.
