Which PE shops are headquartered in NYC? Growth or buyout? Or even a regional office with a substantial footprint/similar associate experience to SF? Those who are in living in SF, how bad is it compared to NYC? really not keen on moving out there but really interested in tech PE. Thanks!

Silver Lake has some NYC footprint although idk how big their team is. Francisco might actually have a NYC presence now but they're really a SF fund with a decent presence in London.
Do you have any thoughts on Siris or Apax digital? Seen a lot of good exits from Siris
