The deal on LMM exit opps

Curious how heterogenous exit opps are from LMM firms given someone’s interest. E.g., if you are interested in going HSW, are you really better off from LMM 1 vs LMM 2 all things considered ?

Curious because was looking at placements from Calera and Serent. Calera seems to kind of eat with the HBS placements , where as it doesn’t look like Serent has any ??? I know that Serent does not sponsor MBAs so not sure how much a driver that is vs the actual firm name mattering ???

More generally, what’s the exit pathway/ typical career if you start as a LMM associate? Know you’re never going to an Advent or Pershing, but what’s the “median” outcome ?? Is it still worth pursuing ???
