Yea a buddy of mine landed GS TMT after working at a summer camp sophomore summer. Henry Kravis personally emailed him and said they only take BB IB or MM PE sophomore internship associates. He decided to do a masters in finance at UVA after his analyst years so he could make up for the internship. He’s landed BX that year on cycle. He’s a legend at our investment club.
