Incorrect. It’s meaningfully below conventional PE.
Source: actual interviews where they previewed comp expectations bc they know it’s so uncompelling if you have a ‘real’ PE career.
Principal in PE above is inaccurate; Sr. Assoc comp is 220k base and 250-350k cash bonus (depending on performance). Carry kicks in at VP which is quite substantial (5-10mm DAW)
MGX is basically just a megafund- it's sovereign wealth linked but has a real carry pool, sources deals independently and runs hard
Sounds appealing altho they could be troubled if they are deploying at ultra high multiples - even when they have quasi unlimited capital
They are basically an AI private asset index fund
