Recently took a new associate position at a Smaller PE firm (5-15 people, software) after working as an M&A / BD analyst (1000+ people, software) for ~2 years. For anyone who’s made a similar switch what did you find made you successful or not successful after the change. What did you do / what would you do different. Just trying to prepare as best I can.
