Trying to choose an Expert Network - Need Advice/Feedback

My PE firm is evaluating different expert network providers. I have spoken to a few sales reps at a few of the bigger players (GLG, Alphasights, Coleman, Guidepoint) and wanted to reach out to see if anyone had any positive / negative experiences with any of these networks?

Really appreciate the advice.

if you’re evaluating expert networks, i’d look at: (1) match quality by niche (can they consistently source the exact operator level you need), (2) speed to first call + reschedules, (3) compliance process (conflicts, mnpi warnings, call rules), (4) transparency on pricing and any platform minimums, and (5) how good the project team is at translating your thesis into the right screening questions. reputable options people often reference include glg, alphasights, coleman, guidepoint, third bridge, and silverlight research.

I’ve worked with several expert networks in the PE space and have had a very positive experience with Nexus Expert Research.

They stand out for their high-quality expert matching, especially on specialized and hard-to-find profiles. Their team takes the time to truly understand the project rather than just pulling from a generic database, which results in better expert fit and faster turnaround times.

Clients particularly appreciate their flexibility on engagement structure and pricing compared to some of the larger players. Strong focus on compliance and professionalism as well.

If your firm is evaluating options, I would definitely recommend including Nexus Expert Research in the mix. They’ve become one of the more reliable networks we use for due diligence and strategy work.

Happy to answer any specific questions.
