UAE PE Comp

In the process for a UAE-based fund. Think secondaries / co-invest. VP / Director role (8-10y experience). Can anyone (who knows!) please give an indication / range for base and total comp I should expect? Thanks! 🙏🏻

Principal in PE - LBOs:

I have had a few pings from HH over the years for roles in Dubai / Abu Dhabi and my recollection is that they were generally in the $500-$600K all-in range for Director level positions. Note that unless you are American, the comp is practically tax free, but the downside obviously is that you have to live in the UAE

Thanks so much. I’m not sure that’s really a downside but very helpful on the range🙏🏻

My buddy is a Senior Associate at Mubadala and his comp is $450-500k all-in. NYC location.

Either NYC pay is significantly higher or he's lying to me...
