UK Target Schools to NYC IB/PE

Hi! I was wondering if it was realistic for me to work in NYC high finance straight, given that I enroll in LSE or Oxford. It's much more realistic and frankly easier + cheaper for me to go to uni in the UK. However, the end goal is ultimately to start work immediately in NYC, as the culture and environment is a much better fit for me compared to London + the compensation is much higher.

Courses would likely be
LSE - BSc Finance and Accounting OR BSc Economics and Politics
Oxford - Law

Is such a career pivot heard of? Ideally, I would start straight in NYC.

You are not getting into the US from the UK unless you already have the right to work in the US
