UK VC/GE paths
Thoughts on the current state of VC/growth equity routes in the UK/mainland Europe in post-covid times.
Feels like the traditional IB An->As->VC investor route isn’t quite as common anymore and more people are getting in without a full 4/5 year stint doing 90 hour weeks.
As a penultimate year semi target student, I can’t decide whether to go all in on a top tier masters to get ib or try a non-traditional route like joining a start up early on. Pretty torn on what the play should be going into final year. For reference, have a summer in big 4 fa and this summer in a boutique vc/fund manager.
Thanks in advance!
