Underperforming?
Recently transitioned from banking to PE and am having some difficulties grasping some of the existing investments. Also feel like I am underperforming to some degree and generally just feel like I do not belong.
I have been here for two months now and feel like it is difficult grasping certain concepts and being on top of everything, as I am constantly playing catch up.
Anyone else felt like this when going from Banking to PE?
Would appreciate any feedback / recommendations of how to stay afloat for at least the next 12M.

Yes, the initial adjustment can be difficult. But hang in there. It improves as you get the hang of it. Give yourself a good 12-18 months / 2-3 deals before being too hard on yourself.
