US HH

Have any EU/UK folks had any success with reaching out to HH in the US e.g., Amity / Ratio for jobs there? Chatting to some HH friends and I know a lot of funds sponsor, though unsure if they do that for only those out of US schools. Open to all types of investing roles.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information about EU/UK candidates successfully reaching out to US headhunters like Amity or Ratio for roles in the US. However, it is noted that European funds and recruiting processes are less structured compared to the US, and networking plays a significant role in breaking into these markets.

For US roles, sponsorship is often available, but it may depend on the candidate's educational background, deal experience, and alignment with the fund's focus. If you're targeting the US, it would be beneficial to leverage your network, highlight any relevant deal experience, and potentially focus on funds that have a history of sponsoring international candidates.
