I met one of the MD's a while back, super super nice guy. Really smart people, great fund to work for if you get the chance. Probably my ideal PE shop to work for if I ever get the chance.

I'd like to get some information on this as well. I happen to know one of the CEO's of a company that Vestar owns and have been thinking about looking into an internship if they even offer them.

They are struggling to raise a new fund.

Recently, there were “three separate situations where limited partners were selling their interests in Vestar funds,” one source, who buys interests in funds from other investors, said.
