Vista CCAT - Chance to Take Again Years Later

I briefly interviewed with Vista ~3 years ago regarding an internship with them and didn't pass the CCAT. I've been in conversations with someone there recently regarding a role and was wondering if anyone had any experience with Vista and if they allow people to take the test again who may not have passed years prior. Appreciate any color

Based on previous WSO threads, Vista Equity Partners places significant emphasis on the CCAT (Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test) as part of their systematic recruitment process. While there isn't explicit confirmation in the WSO dataset about whether Vista allows candidates to retake the CCAT after a failed attempt years prior, it’s worth noting that many firms do allow retakes, especially if a significant amount of time has passed and the candidate has gained additional experience or qualifications.

Your best course of action would be to directly inquire with your contact at Vista or their HR/recruitment team. Frame it positively, emphasizing your growth and readiness for the role. Additionally, if you do get the opportunity to retake the CCAT, focus on preparation to ensure you score in the top percentile, as this is a critical factor in their hiring process.

If you're looking for resources to prepare, consider practicing with CCAT-specific prep tools or cognitive aptitude tests to sharpen your skills. Good luck!
