Vista Equity Partners Junior Comp

See title - have done research and a lot of disconnect on WSO about this

For analysts, have seen number’s somewhat consistent (95k base, 90k bonus, 10k signing)

However for associates, have seen TC numbers ranging anywhere from 250 up to 350, can anyone please confirm what the updated An/Assoc numbers are now?

Incoming Associate 1 - as of 2023 on-cycle numbers are 140k base, 160k bonus (in writing in offer letter), and phantom carry from Analyst/Associate carry pool (new initiative the firm introduced a few years ago) which will vary year to year based on investment exits in a given year across the Vista funds, but from speaking to people at the firm have been told reasonable to expect ~50k in your first Associate year. So total comp for Associate 1 is ~350k (140+160+50)

Do associates get a bump in salary YoY? And I'm assuming there is a large bump in base/bonus from Associate to Senior Associate?

Incoming AN1 confirming 95 base, 90 bonus, 10 signing. Have also heard that phantom carry is ~5k since you will have only been on the desk for a few months when it gets paid in December. Comes out to a total of 200k first year. Vista also has a 5% 401k match.

assuming you were part of the summer '22 intern cohort and then covered to FT -- what was the return offer rate? hearing mixed things about it

Return offers were given to 10/12 interns last summer. Previous year was 10/10. The offer is yours to lose.

is the bonus stated in writing in the offer letter like the associates'?

Is the 90k bonus set in writing in offer letter like associate’s 160k bonus above? And are there base bumps every year by 5-10k like typical BBs/EBs?

Currently an SA at tech BB interested in recruiting Vista FT

Wow congrats to you both, these numbers are amazing, double amazing if you're in Austin to get the no state income tax + COL benefit. "Vista underpays", my ass lol.
