I mean they’re both top tier shops you can’t really go wrong. On the balance I would say Warburg is sweatier and also pays more. Also has more of a B2B focus while GA does more consumer-y things. GA def does promote without b school while WP has a much stricter 2+ out policy—could be a positive for b school placement though it’s already excellent at both places.

I would say Warburg is the better option, but it depends on exactly what you want. They are very different roles at the analyst level. Warburg is more traditional PE, while GA also has a heavy sourcing aspect. Warburg also certainly does not have a 2 and out requirement. They don’t require MBAs at any point, but do place well for those that want to follow that path.
