I am a senior heading to IB in NYC next year. I have heard of a few diversity programs that are opening applications now for an intro program into PE. What programs have you heard of/suggest I apply to?

It's not like IB where you can check diversity on a form and get a special interview. Most firms just don't have the class size or public pressure to have huge diversity programs like the banks do. You may get some extra resume pulls from HH if you are visible diversity (trying to say this as eloquently as possible, diversity is a... hot topic on here) but otherwise little impact on recruiting.
If you're female I'd look into WAVE (Womens Associate of Venture and Equity) they have a great forum every fall with lots of big-name attendees and sponsors. Good place to network for sure.
