What is the diff between partner and md?
Somewhat technical but what is the difference between a partner in a VC or a managing director?

Partners are about the highest level and usually are owners. MD is a bull shit title that references some level of seniority and usually seen at top ibanks not VC entities.
Might vary between firms. Seems like Sequoia has a lot of "partners".
