I feel like more and more I have noticed students following up for coffee chats 3-4 times. I would have never done this when networking. I have zero connection with these student either. Its all generic emails. Its borderline harassment when its over 5 emails. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Just speculating, but I think they see some Hubspot research study that says cold outreach takes 4+ attempts to get a response, and they just blindly apply that networking
