When to talk to headhunters
Incoming IB analyst who is planning on doing off cycle recruiting for mm pe. I am trying to figure out when the best time to talk to the headhunters is. I have registered in all the portals but haven’t done the intro chats yet. I am like 65% ready to recruit right now but want to continue to prep and have some deal experience under my belt. I have heard it’s best to wait until you are 100% prepared before talking to them, but am I missing out on anything by not talking to them now? Also, how do you find time to talk to headhunters once you are on the desk?
