Where to find a PE mentor?

Hi all, I am a young female PE professional and I was wondering how one can find a mentor in this industry? I often hear through my peers how they were able to be mentored and given career advice but it seems increasingly hard to find someone. Any advice?

Unfortunately think the best way is to meet someone and get coffee with them and try to build a relationship. If your firm has womens' networks that is a good place to start, or even any official volunteer efforts or interest groups are good as well. Some firms even have little speed networking or random mentor pairings which could be helpful for you. I'd also look for networking events or groups and try to build connections that way - WAVE (Womens Association of Venture and Equity) is one such group
