Which UMM and MFs offer levered co-invest to deal team associates on a fee/carry-free basis and which don't?
I thought this was standard practice but apparently it's not. Please add any details (commitment caps, if permitted only in your strategy's funds, treatment upon exit from the firm (adding fees vs firm buyouts), if it requires receiving carry, etc.).
Info I've heard from friends around the street:
Silver Lake: fund-level levered (up to ~$100k) coinvest with up to 3x leverage
Vista: fund-level co-invest (not sure if leverage is allowed)
HIG: investment-level coinvest (and they let you pick investments across strategies and funds iirc) levered coinvest with $250k max leverage and up to 70% LTV
