Working with private equity firms as an independent consultant
I have been doing market research and business development consulting in pharma for almost a decade. I have advised a few PE firms on identifying and assessing acquisition targets. I really enjoyed the work and I want to been involved in more long-term similar projects. How can I find PE firms that would be interested to hire me as an independent industry expert (expert networks are a waste of time) ? Do I just cold email them? Is there a directory for example?
