Would a Stern Undergrad hold me back in PE recruiting post 2-year IB stint?
I eventually wanted to go into a PE role after IB, but I guess I didn’t really think about undergrad still mattering at that point. The question is will Stern’s “prestige on Wall Street” hold up compared to other schools? If not, I might think about transferring to an ivy or something. Just food for thought haha.
Unfortunately yes. Attending the #2 school in the world for placing analysts on Wall Street is a straight shot in the foot with no recovery in sight.
Transfer to Wharton immediately.
Echoing comment above, have fun recruiting for LMM funds in Ohio.
You’re fucking with us, aren’t you?
No someone told me so I got scared 😭
Bro if you’re having a tough time in recruiting then I can assure you it’s not Stern lmao
kick rocks kid
