Would current JPM first year analysts be eligible to recruit for 2028 asso class?
Given the JPM analyst program now runs 2.5 years, can the current first years recruit for associate class of 2028?
They would finish their analyst program in Dec 2027, and wait to start their PE stint in summer 2028. Would the couple gap months be an issue? Or are there other considerations to eligibility? Would HHs / firms consider these analysts for the 2026 on-cycle process? This would dodge the 18 month recruitment ban and bonus clawback
