WSJ - Carlyle Cuts Fees To Sell New Fund

Interesting... What will the implications of the price cut mean for the industry over the long term? Industry re-calibration ahead or just a temporary measure in current environment?

About one-third of the Carlyle fund, or $780 million, came from pensions and other investors that took advantage of the preferred terms, Carlyle says.
How pissed are you right now if you're in the other 2/3rds that didn't get preferred pricing?
