Bump - also curious to hear more about those familiar with their multi platform
heard they have a culture of low pay, compared to street
That brand-name discount :((

Slick Mahoney

;NY team works hard, not sweatshop but long hours. West coast teams are less intense, but no 40hr weeks for sure. Good culture internally, people are friendly and collaborative. Pay seems to be slightly below street comp, some combination of developer/ brand name discount. Source: roommate at TS
As a west coast analyst would you expect a typical in at 9 and out at 6 or 7 unless it’s crunch time?
9-6/7 sounds about right when it’s not too busy. From what i can tell NY is more of a “stay until the seniors start to leave” and the west coast is “if you’re done with your work you can go / finish up from home” vibe.
I know a west coast analyst, too and last I talked to them they were regularly doing 12+ hours plus Saturday work.
Not sure if it’s the same west coast office or if things have slowed down, though. Had this convo with them a few months ago.
If you don’t mind, is this LA/SF/other?
