2019 RE Internships for late-starter?

I switched from a bio major to finance with a concentration in real estate my sophomore year. As a junior now, I feel that I am behind on internships. My father is successful in his own real estate company and I would love more than anything to get experience working in a real estate division. I have some RE experience to slap on my resume. My business school is very banking heavy and does not have a high focus on RE, so I am well aware of where my banking peers are going, but I feel as if I am ill-informed for real estate opps. Do you have any recommendations for firms to apply for 2019 summer? How can I begin jumping into Real Estate?
