I responded below on another one of your posts, if you are legit not doing much, kinda doubt they would care tbh.

Given what is going on in the real world these days...... I can see how a capital markets shop could be shit out of opportunity.

Don't just quit, go talk to manager and explain situation, they may be happy for you. If they don't have deal flow for you to deal with, then this could be win win.

At first glance, NO. Assuming your internship is only 3 months, the last thing you want to do is burn bridges this early on in your career. Now there are obviously exceptions, but it's going to need to be for substantial reasons and you need to have a better opportunity lined up. Real estate can be a very small industry - word gets around.

this other shop wants to hire you away from an internship mid summer? Seems odd tbh, like why are they operating that way, maybe nothing, maybe a red flag.

Not sure you really will 'burn' your reputation, but if it is well known shop in the brokerage world, it is worth considering how many will 'know' what happened. It's not ideal, but in reality, what interns do (or who interns are....) is usually a 'who gives a shit' at most firms.

Like will you even be remembered outside your assigned team? In all chances, this could be no.
