Accepted into Masters RE Program - add it to my resume as incoming x date while I look for new jobs? Still on the fence
Pretty much the title, accepted into a well known masters program should I add it to my resume that I sent out to recruiters/apply for jobs that I am incoming x month this year? I am on the fence and leaning towards grad school, the name and program could add legitimacy to my resume due to the name and some jobs may say work here while you go to school. I think it may be tough because some of these jobs can be demanding and you won't have time for school which are a lot of the roles I am looking at. Thoughts?
You kind of have to shit or get off the pot.
Is it a part time program? Are you 100% going? If so, then put it on your resume.
If you're not sure, or it's a full time program, leave it off.
100% going at this point, two interesting opportunities just came up today (start of processes, no offers). It's known for being flexible and can be done part time while students work, but one of the roles will have very long hours so I'll leave it off.
If you’re planning on school part time and working. Don’t write incoming. Just write
“University may 2024” ( or expected graduation date)
.
