Acquisition Roles

Been browsing the job boards pretty frequently over the past few months, and have seen a lot of asset management posts for the analyst/associate level, but not a whole lot of acquisition roles.

With most funds sitting on large amounts of capital, and the economic outlook improving, do you think that hiring will pick up into 2Q for acquisition analysts/associates ? Or are most of these jobs not getting posted and are going to referral candidates?
