Dude i think they pay VERY fat if you move to Abu Dhabi. Even at junior levels. My info might be stale or incorrect, but I would not be surprised if associates pulled in like $500K-$750K US. But then you have to live in Abu Dhabi, so...
No idea what they pay people here in the states.
Bro what … if it was Dubai, would highly consider it
ADIA has a NY real estate office ?
spoke to a recruiter few months ago. its mid 200s all-in for associate in Abu Dhabi. You do save on taxes though. No carry or LTIP at the firm.
Thanks. Do you know what the split is between salary and bonus?
Bonus was quoted in 50-70% range
Any idea they recruit for NYC as well?
If you're a US citizen you still have to pay federal taxes
I flew out to Abu Dhabi 5+ years ago for an interview, so its possible my info is stale. But a few things to add:
1. ADIA will pay for your housing, so that's a major perk of working there. So while pay is in the ~$200 range, you're saving all that money that you're not spending on housing.
2. The Americas team is all based in Abu Dhabi.
3. A lot of interesting office dynamics as an expat working there to consider. The lifestyle isn't for everyone.
Thank you - this is helpful.
Just a few questions if that's OK.
1. Do they fully cover housing or is it just partial based off of a housing allowance? Of course, I am not asking for a luxury lifestyle, but is the housing allowance sufficient to fully cover an "average", say 2-bed apartment near the office?
2. Do you know if ADIA is an odd one out that provides housing support or is it common across the Middle Eastern companies?
3. Could you please elaborate on the interesting office dynamics? What do you mean by it?
Thanks in advance.
