Advanced Degree (MBA / Masters) Needed in Real Estate Ownership vs Capital Raising?
Hi, I currently work in B-Piece Buying and Asset Management at a regional asset manager. I came from a real estate M&A Advisory role from a boutique I-Bank in New York from undergrad so I have about 3 years of total working experience. My goal is to move over to Acquisitions / Real Estate PE Capital Raising.
I was considering an MBA / RE Masters in order to maybe make that pivot or to advance quicker than someone who may not have an MBA. I am having second thoughts because I may be able to make that transition without the degree. Also are there comp differences if I were to get it?
