AI Solutions for CAM Recs?

Is anyone using AI solutions for cam recs, or are most firms still doing it by hand?

Our portfolio has grown significantly, but our accounting dept has not kept pace.  We'd like to ease the burden on that group via 3rd party solutions and I'm curious what other groups are doing.

Thanks!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, AI solutions are increasingly being adopted in various financial and operational tasks, including areas like CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations. Firms are leveraging AI to process large amounts of structured and unstructured data, automate repetitive tasks, and generate standardized reports quickly. These tools can significantly reduce the manual burden on accounting departments, especially for growing portfolios.

For example, AI systems are already being used in deal origination, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring. They can automate up to 50% of these functions and improve over time with usage. While specific mentions of CAM reconciliations aren't highlighted, the principles of AI automation—such as ingesting data, identifying patterns, and producing outputs—are applicable to tasks like CAM recs.

If your firm is considering easing the burden on your accounting team, exploring third-party AI solutions tailored to real estate or property management might be a good starting point. These tools could streamline processes, reduce errors, and free up your team for higher-value tasks.
